Our Mission
In service of Chops' mission to improve lives through music education, ChopsLIVE hits the ground running with innovative performance opportunities for Twin Cities artists, educators, and students to not only pursue economic freedom in their own communities but make possible the many youth-based programs offered to under-served populations in the Twin Cities area.
Chops, Inc. strives to provide economic and cultural opportunities for St. Paul youth as they reach high school level and beyond, in a way that is accessible and supportive of ongoing restorative programs in the area. As students continue on to adulthood, ChopsLIVE offers a pathway to success.
ChopsLIVE makes it possible to access not only economic opportunity through paid performances, but social support and community involvement. Chops, Inc. is proud to support ChopsLIVE members in mentorship and ongoing collaboration within the professional music community through an official partnership with the Minnesota Percussion Association.
