Pan-handlers just wrapped up our first ever Steel Drum Band Arranging Competition, and we are proud to announce the winner: Blake Williams!
Blake submitted a fantastic arrangement of Barry Manilow's "Copacabana" and will be taking home the $500 cash prize.
As a percussionist and an aspiring composer, Blake has been writing and arranging music for about 5 years now. This is the first time that he has arranged for a steel drum band, and after hearing his work on "Copacabana," we certainly hope it isn't his last.
